December 22, 2013. Crawford, TX. (ONN) A top secret CIA report apparently documents how the Saudi Arabian government carried out the attacks on September 11, not al Qaeda or Osama bin Laden. It also proves a deliberate cover-up by President Bush who personally censored 28 pages of a Congressional report detailing the evidence. Now, two Congressmen who’ve read it are demanding it be released to the American people.

In 2002, Congress investigated the September 11 attacks on the US and released an 800-page report detailing their findings. By that time however, the Legislative Branch had already surrendered its Constitutional authority to the White House over President Bush’s demand for war and the one-man ‘War Powers’ that come with it. President Bush, for reasons never explained to Congress or the American people, single-handedly censored 28 entire pages of the 800-page Congressional report. Why?
Senators outraged, demand answers
Two US Senators were recently allowed to read the redacted 28 pages of the Congressional 9/11 report. Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) and Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) have both read the Bush-censored sections and their public response was that they were “absolutely shocked” by the amount of evidence implicating one of America’s strongest allies in the attack.
As detailed by the New York Post this week, portions of some of the redacted pages have been leaked to the press. What they show is undisputable proof that a certain country – not Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan as the Bush administration has always insisted – was actually responsible for the attacks. Those attacks killed over 2,000 Americans, launched US-led wars against no less than four Middle East nations, and cost the US taxpayers enough money to send every single American for three generations to college for free.
Proving to doubters that the White House has total control over the entire Legislative Branch of government, Congressmen Jones and Lynch have been left begging the Obama administration to declassify the shocking, history-rewriting report. As the bi-partisan team of Representatives woefully concedes, they can’t even tell the American people what country it is that betrayed us and was actually behind the attacks on 9/11 without committing treason and going to prison.
In response, they’re sponsoring a new Bill that, if passed by the full Congress, would collectively beg President Obama to declassify the secret 28 pages. As is all too common these days, Congress is forbidden by the White House to share with the American people a Congressional report prepared specifically for the American people.
Was Saudi Arabia responsible for the attacks on Sept. 11?
First, we wrote that section heading in the form of a question so as not to be arrested, tortured and tried for treason, or just plain droned to death like other Americans have been. If Congress and the free press must take that precaution, then so will we. But according to numerous reports, including the above-linked article from the NY Post last week, the Saudi Arabian government was responsible for 9/11.
The articles quote a leaked CIA memo showing that the US government has known all along that it was Saudi Arabia and not the Taliban, al Qaida, Afghanistan or Iraq that attacked America on September 11, 2001. It’s worth noting that Osama bin Laden never once took credit for the attacks on 9/11. He insisted all along that he and al Qaida had nothing to do with it.
But while Egypt was reporting bin Laden’s death from kidney failure only a couple years after the attacks, the Bush administration began releasing what many called CIA-produced confession videos from bin Laden suddenly and for the first time taking credit for the attacks. Many critics have called the videos CIA forgeries that always magically appeared only days before US elections, including President Bush’s re-election in 2004.

According to the NY Post, ‘The CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.’
Evidence against the Saud dynasty
Saudi Arabia is a Saud family monarchy and a military dictatorship whose human rights violations make North Korea and Iran look almost angelic. And it’s always been a known fact that 15 of the 19 hijackers – more than 75% – were Saudis. In fact, two days after the attacks, President Bush arranged for a rescue flight to take members of the bin Laden family and Saudi operatives out of the United States and back to the Middle East. Why?
As the various news reports document regarding the leaked CIA memo, the 9/11 hijackers were receiving logistical and financial help in the weeks leading up to 9/11 from Saudi Arabian government officials and secret agents in American cities, ‘from coast to coast.’ The leaked CIA memo reportedly provides startlingly specific details documenting Saudi Arabia’s responsibility for 9/11, all of which occurred right here in the US.
Los Angeles
High level official at the Saudi consulate in Los Angeles, Fahad al-Thumairy, reportedly arranged for the arrival of two 9/11 hijackers – Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi – as they arrived in LA in 2000. Saudi spy Omar al-Bayoumi was observed meeting al-Mihdhar and al-Hazmi at a local Los Angeles restaurant. The Saudi agent left the US just prior to 9/11, while Fahad al-Thumairw was subsequently deported.
San Diego
Saudi spy Omar al-Bayoumi, along with another Saudi government intelligence agent named Osama Bassnan, established a covert base in San Diego. Funded by the Saudi Arabian government, the group established safe houses in the city where the 9/11 hijackers could live and be paid while awaiting the attack. The two spies then set up meetings between the newly arrived hijackers and American al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. The meetings took place at a San Diego mosque funded by the Saudi government.
Washington DC
While living in the States, Saudi Arabian ambassador to the US – Prince Bandar – reportedly sent payments totaling $130,000 to Saudi intelligence agent Osama Bassnan to pay for the hijackers’ residence, upkeep and training. The Saudi Prince has claimed the money was a donation to help Bassnan’s ill wife. But US authorities have tracked the payments directly to the hijackers. Funding for al Qaeda groups in the US by the Saudi embassy in Washington was so pervasive immediately after the 9/11 attacks that the Saudi’s American-based bank – Riggs Bank of Washington – closed Ambassador Bandar’s account in 2004.
Falls Church, VA
In the year prior to the attacks on 9/11, Prince Bandar and the Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington DC had paid for the establishment of the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in the Virginia suburb located not far from the Pentagon. In the weeks prior to the attacks, the Saudi cell from San Diego moved to the Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia where Anwar al-Awlaki was put in charge of obtaining apartments and fake ID’s for the attackers who would soon crash a jumbo jet into the Pentagon.
While Anwar al-Awlaki secretly oversaw the Washington DC area Saudi attackers, he was also acting as an official representative of the Saudi government based out of the country’s embassy in Washington DC. He accompanied Prince Bandar on trips around the world and presided over official state ceremonies. After the attacks on 9/11, an arrest warrant was issued for al-Awlaki. When he tried to make his escape from the US, he was apprehended at JFK Airport. But US agents were told that someone in the Bush administration had ‘withdrawn’ the federal arrest warrant the previous day. Al-Awlaki was immediately turned over to a representative of the Saudi government and allowed to leave the country.
Herndon, VA
On September 10, 2001, the day before the attacks, Saudi government official Saleh Hussayen checked out of his Herndon, VA hotel and checked in at the near-by Marriott Residence Inn. Three of the hijackers that would crash their plane into the Pentagon the following morning had also checked into the same Marriott Residence Inn. FBI officials have said they have no evidence that Hussayen met with or shared a room with the hijackers and they were ordered to cease interrogating him after he allegedly faked a seizure while being questioned.
Sarasota, FL
Former US Senator Bob Graham is on the record as calling the US government’s handling of the Sarasota connection to 9/11, “a cover-up.” He tried repeatedly and unsuccessfully to obtain a copy of the CIA findings now being leaked. The information proves that the city was home to another of the Saudi underground cells. It also documents a direct link between the 9/11 hijackers and Saudi King Fahd himself.
FBI investigations show that just prior to the attacks, King Fahd’s personal advisor Esam Ghazzawi hosted Mohamed Atta and a number of the 9/11 hijackers at his home in a gated Sarasota community. Photos from the security entrance confiscated by the FBI clearly show the attackers’ license plates on cars coming and going from the King’s adviser’s house. The high-security community’s Visitor Logs also show the names of Atta and the hijackers. Ominously, two weeks before 9/11, the luxury Saudi-funded home was completely abandoned. Furnishings, furniture and three expensive vehicles were abandoned and left behind.
White House cover-up
The report from the NY Post quotes a number of FBI agents who insist they were repeatedly pulled off of investigations of 9/11 that led back to the Saudi Arabian embassy. It’s also heavily documented that less than 48 hours after the attacks, Saudi Prince Bandar had met personally with both FBI officials and President Bush himself.
Prince Bandar and President Bush, two long-time friends, reportedly smoked cigars on the White House balcony while the two men talked about the attacks that occurred just two days before. Two days later, an army of Saudi government officials, including bin Laden family members and targets of FBI investigators, were escorted by the Bureau out of the country and back to the safety of the Arabian Kingdom.
Courts agree, Saudi Arabia culpable for the 9/11 attacks
In a decade-long lawsuit against the government of Saudi Arabia, plaintiffs for victims of the 9/11 attacks immediately filed suits against the Middle East country over its role in the attacks. Victims are asking for financial compensation from the oil-rich Kingdom due to its responsibility for the attacks and the loss of their loved-ones.
Unfortunately, the highly criticized 9/11 Commission Report went out of its way to absolve Saudi Arabia or any of its officials from any responsibility for the attacks on September 11. And as the victims’ lawsuits have made their way through the courts for 11 years, they’ve met with conflicting verdicts. Some courts use the 9/11 Commission Report to throw the suits out, while some use the overwhelming public evidence against the Saudis to reinstate the suit.
Four days ago, a US Federal Court of Appeals agreed with the 9/11 victims and ordered that Saudi Arabia be reinstated as a defendant and the lawsuit could legally move forward. The judge ruled that since other courts had allowed other suits against the Saudis to move forward over 9/11, the precedent has been set.
The three-judge Appeals Court wrote, ‘The procedural history of this case produced inconsistent results between two sets of plaintiffs suing for damages based on the same incident. We conclude that the circumstances here are extraordinary and warrant relief.’ Michael Kellogg, attorney for Saudi Arabia, was disappointed in the ruling and said, “It is extremely unfortunate and burdensome that a sovereign nation and ally of the United States will continue to have to litigate this matter more than ten years after it was filed.”
While President Obama contemplates declassifying the missing 28 pages of the 9/11 Congressional Report that implicate Saudi Arabia and Congress attempts to secure enough votes to call on the White House to do so, the American people will continue to wonder who really was responsible for 9/11 and why two White House administrations are so obsessed with keeping it a secret.
