We tried it out, and honestly, we can’t think of a better way to manage your assets.
The 3D Option
We can all agree that we like to see things – and the Field AP allows us to. It was much easier for us to understand the moving of certain assets, as well as the impact when we had the 3D model pointed out. What is great is that once you connect one asset to another, it instantly recalculates and shows the new value. Basically, the only thing you need to do as a user makes an account, insert the base info and from then on enjoy the benefits of this cloud platform.
One of the greatest benefits is that if you own an offshore company, all your stakeholders will be able to access the assets at any point, and thus the communication between you two will be greatly improved. The risk of any error or misunderstanding is thus brought to a minimum.
What Does It Include
This Futureon developed platform includes three crucial functions: Field Layout Module, Asset Library, Drag and Drop. We didn’t expect that connecting and drawing out the asset layouts will be so easy and it is using the layout module given by the Field AP. You only have to draw out a few lines between the points and everything else is done by the platform.
The Asset Library is the space where you add and keep all your smart assets – these are instantly structured and made to reflect given values. Last, but not least is the Drag and Drop which allows you to clone or replace one layout with another in a matter of seconds. Along with, we liked the fact that switching from 2D to 3D is done in a matter of one click.
The platform is incredibly secure, and there is no way anyone that doesn’t have your login details can enter the Asset Library. Along with that, this Futureon platform is supported with an excellent customer team that is there to inform you or help you if anything goes wrong.
What We Liked The Most
We loved the fact that it improves the communication in the team, and thus saves time that you would otherwise spend figuring out different effective methods. Along with that, you save money as you will not have to pay your professional asset planer, and last but not least you are sure to strengthen your risk management as the 3D representations of your assets allows gives you a better insight on how to act.
We would rate this platform 5/5, and we think that although it includes everything the Futureon developing team will keep on figuring out new ways to ease the asset managing. Enough of talking, we suggest that you go and try it out yourself!
