Natural News launches Search Engine – Submit your Site

By Mark Wachtler

May 30, 2015. Tucson, AZ. (ONN) Our good friends at Natural News have launched an internet search engine to rival Google and Bing. While those two corporate-owned sites push other corporate-owned sites, Natural News’ new search engine Good Gopher will feature the best independent and alternative media the internet has to offer. Natural News is inviting all of us to submit our sites to create one gigantic independent search engine, free of Washington-Wall Street propaganda, censorship and spying.

Natural News is launching a search engine to compete with Google and Bing called Good Gopher. Submit your website right now.

The name of the new search engine is Good Gopher and it’s located at GoodGopher.com. It’s not open for use by the general public just yet however. Instead, for the next couple weeks, publishers with their own websites, blogs and news outlets are invited to submit their sites for inclusion in the search engine. We’ve already submitted our sites and the process is easy and takes literally only seconds.

About Good Gopher

Describing the reasons for creating a new search engine, the Good Gopher website explains, ‘GoodGopher was developed by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, editor of NaturalNews.com. Adams was formerly the CEO of a very successful software company. He’s now using his technical expertise to create GoodGopher which will benefit all alternative websites publishing TRUTH rather than propaganda.’

The ‘About’ page goes on to detail, ‘With your help, we are building the internet’s largest search engine for those searching for information and news on liberty, natural healing, central banks, food freedom, advanced science and a multitude of other topics no longer allowed in NSA-controlled search engines.’ Calling itself the ‘anti-Google’, GoodGopher promises its search engine will filter out, ‘corporate propaganda and government disinformation.’

Real news sites vs. fake news sites

In the announcement from Natural News just two days ago, author, editor and search engine creator Mike Adams explained, “GoodGopher is the first and only search engine in the world that intentionally favors New Media, Independent Media, Alternative Media websites like Breitbart.com, The Intercept (Glenn Greenwald), Tom Woods (www.TomWoods.com) and TruthStreamMedia (www.TruthStreamMedia.com). GoodGopher will also selectively spider selected international news sites that have a reputation for fearless reporting on world events, such as RT (Russia Today), Der Spiegel and Al Jazeera.”

Adams goes on to explain, “Fake news sources like MSNBC are banned from the engine, as are all other websites pushing corporate propaganda or government disinfo. Sorry, National Geographic. Peddle your Monsanto mockingbird propaganda somewhere else. In essence, all the websites which have been blackballed by Google News for reporting the truth are favored and highlighted on GoodGopher.com.”

The new search engine will be funded by advertisements alongside search results. But the creators promise to ban all unethical and propaganda-fueled ads. The Natural News editor touts the fact that, ‘70% of the advertising revenue for mainstream media comes from drug companies – yes, Big Pharma.’ In contrast, GoodGopher.com will ban ads from corporations and entities like the Clinton Foundation, Monsanto, DuPont, ExxonMobil, the CDC, WhiteHouse.gov, NY Times, and Goldman Sachs, just to name a few.

Taking on the establishment

The new search engine’s creators acknowledge their site will not be as large as Google or Bing. But that’s the point they say. GoodGopher.com is, ‘For people who are searching for far more honest and truthful information. GoodGopher.com becomes the obvious choice where you’ll find independent sources on topics like GMOs, central banks, crypto currency, heavy metals in vaccines, fraudulent science and so on.’

Showing that they are not naïve and demonstrating their experience on the front line of America’s ongoing information war, Natural News’ Mike Adams concedes that the search engine will probably be the target of constant and powerful attacks from central governments and multi-national corporations alike.

“For this reason, we expect GoodGopher to be subjected to heavy attacks waged by the cyber warfare operations of western governments,” Adams explains, “This is why we are warning in advance that you should not expect anywhere near 100% uptime availability for the search results, especially immediately after false flag events when information suppression is very aggressive – to make sure the ‘official narrative’ dominates the socially-shared memes in order to achieve contrived ‘consensus’ among the gullible masses.”

How the GoodGopher search algorithm works

Anyone who’s ever tried to find competent news articles on Google News, or to a lesser extent on Yahoo News, will notice that their current news page is riddled with entries that are weeks or months old. That’s how hard it is for legitimate news outlets to break into the two search giants’ listings and how exclusive they are. GoodGopher will also be exclusive. But rather than reward sites for ‘black hat’ coding tricks or simply because they’re owned by giant multi-nationals, GoodGopher’s search engine will reward quality content, regardless of the size of the publisher. It will also take the age of the news article into consideration.

“Even if you have a small, independent website with few incoming links, you can still achieve top rankings on GoodGopher by simply producing quality content,” organizers assure prospective participants, “You no longer have to achieve high domain authority or high numbers of inbound links.” They go on to explain, “GoodGopher’s search relevancy algorithm is temporally front-weighted. In other words, it favors more recent web pages over older web pages…This means you’ll be able to use GoodGopher as a research tool for finding the latest breaking news on real-time events as they occur.”

The GoodGopher search engine will be launched and available for search in a couple weeks. Until then, independent and alternative news sites are encouraged to submit their sites right now at GoodGopher.com.
