3. Do Not Ban Social Media
You might believe that your employees are goofing off on Twitter and Facebook. And yeah, there might be a little of that happening.
But it’s far less than you think.
Social media offers all sorts of tools that support professional connections. It’s also a great way for your employees to talk up your company.
Plus, banning social media at work is a sure sign to your employees that you don’t trust them. And that’s a serious morale killer.
4. Share Information
Do your employees have all of the information they need to meet their responsibilities?
There’s a good chance that you have some insights into how and why your business runs. That’s what makes you the boss.
But if you’re not sharing these insights, it can be difficult for them to make their own decisions. Plus, the more reliant they are on you, the less productive you will be as well.
5. Provide Training Opportunities
Are you encouraging your employees to develop and grow within their current position?

6. Quickly Address Issues
Employees thrive in an office culture where they feel heard and understood.

7. Be Yourself
Your employees know when you’re putting on a false act or being insincere. And it breeds mistrust.
So just be real.
Behave in a way that reflects your beliefs and values and it will go along way toward building trust.
