May 12, 2012. Monte Rio, Calif. After less than a year in existence, the Occupy Wall Street movement has learned what only a handful of Americans know – the global banking cartels they despise so much and the world government that seems to control all nations, is actually one, all-powerful secret society. Non-believers also don’t believe cigarettes are addictive, bone marrow transplants work and global temperatures are rising. For the rest however, the battle is on. Come this July, the warriors of the 99 percent will invade the secret and private gathering of the 1 percent. They call it Bohemian Grove.

For the longest time, the colorful and bizarre theories surrounding the remote woodland resort in California called Bohemian Grove were just that, theories. Until investigative journalist Alex Jones cornered the most popular and successful political analyst of our time – David Gergen. In what has become a famous video interview in its own right, Jones of the famed InfoWars, stops Gergen on the street and begins grilling him about Bohemian Grove.
Not only doesn’t David Gergen deny any of the freakish allegations, he instead defends them, accusing Jones of being dishonorable for either breaking his oath of secrecy to the order, or since Jones is not a part of the secret society, for crashing the event and video taping much of it. It was that interview with one of the most ‘inside’ political power-brokers in America that finally gave credence to decades of Illuminati and New World Order theories surrounding California’s Bohemian Grove Resort.

Vanity Fair exposes Bohemian Grove
While it’s not the typical news source, Vanity Fair does the job of legitimately confirming many of the wild theories and stories surrounding the secret gathering. The publication printed a multi-part recap after one of its journalists infiltrated the 2008 Bohemian Grove gathering, until he was arrested and taken into police custody.
The Vanity Fair piece goes on to quote the clandestine meeting’s itinerary and program of events. Speeches and themes include such issues as (taken directly from the Bohemian Grove program):
- Owl Shrine: Cremation of Care
- Campfire Circles: Sly Fox
- Museum Talk: The Role of Nuclear in America
- Lakeside Talk: Always present, the Role of Religion in American Politics
Those are just a sampling of the topics discussed at the secret gathering of the world’s most powerful individuals. As the Vanity Fair articles point out, it may not be what is discussed as much as who is giving the discussions. According to the authors, ‘To join the Bohemian Club, you must either be invited by several members, or wait patiently for decades. And then there’s the $25,000 initiation fee and the hefty yearly dues.’

Now that the leaders of the 1 Percent have been located and identified, the loose confederation of 99-Percenters is taking the fight to their turf. What began as just an idea floating around various protest circles, has turned into an internationally promoted and organized event.
Occupy Bohemian Grove
Giving the planned July demonstration a home base, Occupy Portland leaders have voted to endorse and coordinate the mission to occupy and expose the infamous gathering at Bohemian Grove this summer. They are joined by Occupy Santa Rosa and Occupy San Francisco for local support since the gathering of the ‘shadow government’ takes place in their backyard. Since then, the list of participating and supporting groups and organizations continues to grow. Like the NATO gathering in Chicago later this month, the July Bohemian Grove gathering is taking shape as one of the biggest battles of the year between the people and the power.
The dates of the Occupy Bohemian Grove offensive are July 14 and July 21. Those are the two days protest organizers are targeting in their effort to expose the secret gathering of the globe’s most influential individuals.
According to a statement released by protest organizers:
‘In solidarity with a number of Occupations, as well as long-running protest group Bohemian Grove Action Network, the call for peaceful protests against The Bohemian Club this July in Monte Rio (CA) are hereby announced. Since Bohemian Grove is on private land, we respect those legal boundaries. Therefore, this communiqué only endorses peaceful, non-violent protests on the public land existing outside Bohemian Grove.’
The Occupy call to action goes on to explain:
‘Who are the Bohemian Club?
The Bohemian Club is an all-male organization whose members have included every Republican President since 1888, as well as Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch, Warren Buffet, Colin Powel, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Henry Kissinger, Alan Greenspan, John Lehman, Karl Rove, Norman Schwarzkopf and the Rockefeller family. Other connected names include high-ranking members of ALEC, NATO, NAFTA, Stratfor, Halliburton, the United Nations, Bilderberg Group, CIA, FBI, Secret Service, Federal Reserve and the 9/11 Commission Report Committee. The list continues to spiral with a laundry list of major players in world politics, big business, the banking industry and the military industrial complex.
What is Bohemian Grove?
The short answer is that Bohemian Grove is a super-exclusive, two-week encampment/party for the most corrupt of the 1 percent. Those involved are members of ‘The Bohemian Club’. Formed in 1880 as an artists retreat, this 2,700 acre campground (dubbed ‘Bohemian Grove’) exists 75 miles north of San Francisco. The campground was slowly bought out by the 1 percent and became an annual, clandestine party. These men hold secretive ‘Lakeside Talks’. This is the cause of concern for us – secret seminars involving unbelievable concentrations of wealth and power. The goal is not to ‘shut down’ their party, per se – we simply want to shine a spotlight on it.’
