Earth’s Poles flipping ten-times Faster than thought

July 19, 2014. Earth. (ONN) It’s almost pointless to quote the world’s scientific experts when those very same experts have had to come forward twice this year and admit they were wrong. Whether it’s global warming or the Earth’s magnetic pole reversal, it seems the scholars and government scientists would rather continue making unfounded promises than just admit they don’t understand what’s happening. This week, the European Space Agency released new data that reveals their latest error.
Earth’s orbit and rotation
First they said the Earth was warming at a deadly pace. Then they said the planet is actually getting colder. This year, the world’s scholars and scientists began admitting that the truth is that somehow, some way, both are happening. While the northern hemisphere has experienced ever-warmer temperatures, the southern hemisphere has been getting colder. It’s a mystery nobody can explain other than to assure a nervous humanity that it’s normal. But is it?
We’re no astronomers here at Whiteout Press. But we know how our planet’s seasons work. And if the top half of the Earth is suddenly being exposed to the Sun either at a closer distance or for an abnormally long period of time, a lay person might suggest that the Earth’s orbit is off. The Earth used to spend six months per year spinning with the Sun slightly above the equator and six months with it below, creating our planet’s seasons. But based on recent studies, ice in the North Pole has been disappearing, while ice in the South Pole has been increasing.
The Earth’s poles
Just as a quick refresher for our readers, the Earth has two sets of north and south ‘poles’. The physical or geographic North and South Poles are determined by the Earth’s spin. Just like a spinning top, the equator spins at a rapid speed while the north and south center points don’t move at all. Always the furthest from the sun and the only spots on the planet that never get direct sunlight, ice the size of continents accumulates. Many people mistakenly believe the North Pole is an actual land mass. It’s not. It’s just a giant block of floating ice. The South Pole has a land mass, and some of us have always wondered if it isn’t the lost continent of Atlantis under all that ice. But that’s a debate for another time.
The Earth’s ‘magnetic poles’ are a different story. They are also determined by the Earth’s spin. But unlike the physical poles which don’t really change location, the magnetic poles are made by the planet’s iron core surrounded by circulating molten metal. The phenomenon creates a magnetic field in the form of an invisible bubble encapsulating the Earth. Like a science fiction deflector shield, it literally deflects all the radiation from the Sun and the rest of the universe, protecting the planet’s inhabitants from certain death.
Entering a new age
One of the many theories surrounding the Mayan’s December 21, 2012 ‘end of time’ date was that the Earth’s poles would flip, along with dozens of other Armageddon-like occurrences. From sources ranging from the Bible and St. Malachy to Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus and Albert Einstein, plagues, violent Earth changes, World War 3, solar flares, Planet X, the galactic alignment, and the pole reversal would all bring about the end of life as we know it and usher in a new age.
Astrologers call this new age the Age of Aquarius. Every 2,160 years, a cycle calculated during ancient times and based on the Earth’s rotation, mankind is believed to experience a change in universal consciousness. Calculated by man’s centuries-old astrological calendar, the new age began roughly 50 years ago and will intensify over the next two millennia. Pole reversal speeding up
It probably shouldn’t be any surprise that the world’s experts are suddenly contradicting 200 years of expert testimony regarding the planet’s periodic magnetic pole reversals. Einstein is the most often-sighted expert on the subject, explaining that pole reversals are a reoccurring phenomenon. It’s estimated that every 200,000 years or so, the molten metal magma between the Earth’s outer crust and the planet’s inner iron core shifts, taking magnetic north and south with it.
Most people are surprised to find out that for the past couple centuries, the magnetic north pole was nowhere near the geographical north pole. In the 1800’s, it was under north-central Canada. Over the next 100 years, it drifted almost 1,000 miles north to the Queen Elizabeth Islands of extreme northern Canada. Today, the speed of the pole’s movement has increased exponentially and has brought magnetic north another thousand miles into the heart of the Arctic Ocean and passing right by the geographic North Pole.

But that’s what has scientists alarmed all of a sudden. Data just released by the European Space Agency is warning of ‘abnormalities’ in the Earth’s magnetic pole shift. The research shows that the magnetic north pole is moving at a speed ten-times faster than previously documented. In the run-up to the Mayans’ 12/21/12 doomsday calendar, scientists reassured mankind that polar shifts take hundreds of thousands of years to occur and if one is indeed happening now, it will happen slowly over the next 2,000 years.
Scientists admit they were wrong
The shocking data just released by the European Space Agency was published last week in Scientific American. Two reversals in popular thought were immediately highlighted. The first is the time period mistakenly thought needed for a polar reversal to occur.
‘Previously, researchers estimated the field was weakening about 5 percent per century,’ the report explains, ‘But the new data revealed the field is actually weakening at 5 percent per decade, or 10 times faster than thought. As such, rather than the full flip occurring in about 2,000 years, as was predicted, the new data suggest it could happen sooner.’ That new data shows the flip will occur over 200 years, not 2,000 as they previously said. And in reality, if the speed is still rapidly increasing, who’s to say it won’t continue to increase until the scientists are forced to admit it will happen in only 20 years, or 2 years.
The other item that seemed to surprise the world’s experts was the discovery that the planet’s protective magnetic shield is disappearing over North America and South America. An accompanying image in the Scientific American report shows the entire Western Hemisphere losing much of its shield over just the past six months. While at the same time, the magnetic shield is intensifying throughout the south Indian Ocean from South Africa to Australia. Strangely, Australia and Greenland have experienced little or no change.
The report’s authors concede that they don’t understand why the Earth’s polar movement has sped up so much lately. They only agree that at the rate it’s going, the magnetic north pole will be in Siberia in just a few decades. It’s currently passing the geographic North Pole and heading to northern Asia at a speed of 25 miles per year. Again however, that’s ten-times faster than the world’s experts believed it was moving just one month ago.
Another interesting and little-known fact researchers point out is that the Earth isn’t alone when it comes to flipping its magnetic poles. Apparently, our Sun also has magnetic north and south poles. Its poles change on a regular cycle however, reversing ever 11 years.
