2013 LPAC Liberty Conference to be held Sept 19-22

August 13, 2013. Chantilly, VA. The 2013 Liberty Political Action Conference hosted by Campaign for Liberty is just over a month away and tickets are going fast. Each year, the annual gathering of liberty activists seems larger and more exciting than the year before. This year’s conference is no different. Sen. Rand Paul, Rep. Justin Amash and former Congressman and Presidential candidate Ron Paul will be headlining the event.

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) is one of this year’s featured speakers at LPAC 2013.

The 2013 LPAC Conference will be held on September 19-22, 2013 at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia. Tickets are on sale now, not only for the overall three-day event, but also for individual sessions, speeches and workshops. The cost to attend is fairly pricey. So the Conference organizer – Campaign for Liberty – makes available a menu-style system for registering so attendees have the option to only pay for the specific events they wish to participate in.

2013 LPAC Conference

In a recent email to supporters, Campaign for Liberty President John Tate reminded potential attendees that the 2013 LPAC Conference is much more than a simple series of speeches. “In addition to a great lineup of leading speakers in our movement, LPAC will also feature several side events for attendees to meet and mingle with our speakers and other activists from all across the nation,” he noted, “On Friday, September 20, we’ll host a private, special reception with Ron Paul shortly before his main stage speech. This is your chance to meet the Champion of the Constitution!”

Conference organizers happily announced that the entire day of Sunday would be dedicated to, “unparalleled grassroots activism training.” C4L’s John Tate explains, “Seasoned political veterans will equip you with the tools you need to be respected – and feared – by the political class. You’ll learn how to see through the lies and distortions our elected officials tell us, as we show you the techniques the politicians pray you’ll never find out about.” Tate promises workshop attendees, “You’ll leave these classes feeling motivated and empowered to make a difference starting in your own backyard.”

About Campaign for Liberty

Even though the 2013 LPAC Conference features a number of Republican Party elected officials, the conference organizers make it clear that they stand opposed to the elite establishment leadership of both major parties. As detailed on the Campaign for Liberty website:

‘Americans inherit from our ancestors a glorious tradition of freedom and resistance to oppression.  Our country has long been admired by the rest of the world for her great example of liberty and prosperity—a light shining in the darkness of tyranny.

But many Americans today are frustrated.  The political choices they are offered give them no real choice at all.  For all their talk of “change,” neither major political party as presently constituted challenges the status quo in any serious way.  Neither treats the Constitution with anything but contempt.  Neither offers any kind of change in monetary policy.  Neither wants to make the reductions in government that our crushing debt burden demands.  Neither talks about bringing American troops home not just from Iraq but from around the world.  Our country is going bankrupt, and none of these sensible proposals are even on the table.’
