Leaked Recording shows Turkey to attack itself, blame Syria

March 29, 2014. Ankara. First, Turkey shut down Twitter and then YouTube a few days later. And an audio tape leaked to the world media two days ago explains why. According to the Turkish military and government officials secretly recorded, Turkey is about to launch a false flag missile attack against itself as a reason to invade Syria once and for all.

The audio tape first uploaded to YouTube, but since forced down and posted again on other independent news sites around the world, captures a conversation between four Turkish officials – Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutolu, Intelligence Director Hakan Fidan, Deputy Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu and Deputy Chief of Staff Yasar Guler.

The leaked Turkish audio tape

The original recording, without translations, can be found at ZeroHedge.com. While a partial transcript was published by RT News. On the tape, the men discuss using Turkish assets to launch a missile attack on their own country and also attack the Turkish shrine at Suleiman Shah Tomb. Foreign Minister Davutoglu is heard quoting Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, telling the gathered officials that the false flag attack will create an “opportunity for us.”

Turkey’s chief of security and intelligence, Hakan Fidan, then responds, “I’ll send four men from Syria, if that’s what it takes. I’ll make up a cause of war by ordering a missile attack on Turkey. We can also prepare an attack on Suleiman Shah Tomb if necessary.”

Deputy Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu, also part of the secretly recorded discussion, seems to be the only Turkish official participating with any reluctance. He’s heard responding to the above exchange, “Our national security has become a common, cheap domestic policy outfit.” Finally, the Deputy Chief of Staff Yasar Guler confirms what they all just agreed to, but he himself seems to find hard to believe. “It’s a direct cause of war,” he says, “I mean, what’re about to do is a direct cause of war.”

Global response and black-out

Once the leaked audio tape had escaped Turkey and was being shared around the globe, Prime Minister Erdogan couldn’t keep his anger silent and at a political event in Ankara called the secret recording, “immoral.” He told reporters, “They even leaked a national security meeting. This is villainous. This is dishonesty.” Foreign Minister Davutoglu said the tape was “partially manipulated” and insisted the leak was an act of war against Turkey.

Turkey wasn’t the only country that blacked-out the leaked plan for its attack on itself when it first shut down Twitter and then YouTube. Infowars.com makes a point to show its readers and viewers examples of the Western news black-out by showing how a number of the most widely watched and read media outlets reported the story.

The BBC called the revelation, “a discussion of possible military operations in Syria.” CNN reported it saying, “Turkish officials discussed military strategies for Syria.” Reuters described the content of the tape saying Turkish officials were “discussing possible military operations in Syria.” The Los Angeles Times reported, “The conversation revolves around a potential intervention around the Tomb of Suleyman Shah.” None report that the leaked audio tape reveals that Turkey is planning on launching a missile attack against itself and blaming Syria as a cause for invasion.

Turkish citizens go to the polls to vote in local elections tomorrow. Whether the still emerging scandal will have any effect is yet to be scene. Already however, the country’s various political parties have hurled accusations of election fraud at each other, as well as at the Erdogan government.
