September 6, 2011. New York. (ONN) In the ten years since the tragic attacks on September 11, the army of doubters and accusers of the US Federal government has swelled to mammoth proportions. The mainstream media is either too afraid to poll Americans to see if they believe the accusations against the government or they’ve done them and not released the results because the affirmation would shock America into a revolution. In 2006, Americans were asked in two national surveys if they believed 9/11 was an inside job. Scripps Howard reported 36 percent and Zogby reported 42 percent, that do in fact believe the attacks on September 11 were an inside job.

Even more recently, a survey in Germany found that a staggering 90 percent of Germans don’t believe the US government’s version of the attacks on 9/11. 90 percent of Europeans and half of all Americans believing that the US government attacked America makes one wonder why the news media continues to call those people crackpots and wackos.

That was the reason Whiteout Press published its previous article, ‘Was 9/11 an Inside Job?’. In it, we listed the top 40 reasons the doubters of 9/11 give for their skepticism. In response and to be fair, we now present the opposing view. Those that believe and support the government’s account of September 11 have put up the website Debunking911.com. Here are their arguments on the various accusations.

“A few Arabs in the desert could not have pulled this off…”

Conspiracy theorists like to say “Some Arabs with box cutters couldn’t have pulled this off.” Let’s forget for a minute how racist that statement is. (Arabs can do anything Americans can do) Let’s also imagine that the hijackers didn’t make it clear they had a bomb as well as the box cutters. The fact is they were the perfect ones to pull this off. Osama went to school for civil engineering at a time when the towers were being built. America thought enough of him to use him to hold off the USSR in Afghanistan. Most of the hijackers have college educations. Some had flight experience and trained with simulators.

Conspiracy Theorists bring up the fact that the towers were the first steel high rises to fall from fire in history. The fact is the towers had other firsts that day they never seem to include.

There were a lot of firsts for the WTC. In all the history of high-rise fires, not one has ever been hit with a plane traveling 500 miles an hour and had its fire proofing removed from its trusses. In all the history of high-rise fires, not one has ever had its steel columns which hold lateral load sheared off by a 767. In all the history of high-rise fires, not one has ever been a building which had its vertical load bearing columns in its core removed by an airliner. For Building 7, in all the history of high-rise fires, not one has ever been left for 6-7 hours with its bottom floors on fire with structural damage from another building collapse.

Building 7

Conspiracy theorists say World Trade Center 7 is the best proof for controlled demolition because it wasn’t hit by airliners and only had a few fires. They also claim that there was a confession from the building owner who said he “pulled” it. But this is deceptive because while building 7 wasn’t hit by an airliner, it was hit by the large perimeter columns of the Tower collapse. It was 400 ft away but the towers were more than 1300 ft tall. As the tower peeled open, it easily tilted over to reach building 7.

The Freefall Myth

In every photo and every video, you can see columns far outpacing the collapse of the building. Not only are the columns falling faster than the building but they are also falling faster than the debris cloud which is ALSO falling faster than the building. This proves the buildings fell well below free fall speed. That is, unless the beams had a rocket pointed to the ground.

Explosives

They suggest the above glow is steel which is being cut by a thermite cutter charge reaction. They show photos of a thermite reaction burning a hole downward through a metal plate. Let’s forget for a moment that thermite doesn’t explode so the claims of hearing explosions become meaningless. The argument that there was thermite and explosives seems to be rationalization of this dilemma. Why would they use thermite which cuts steel without announcing it, then switch to explosives? To tip people off? No theory exist to explain this but the faithful simply say “We’re still working on it”. I’m sure they are. Let’s also give ourselves selective amnesia and pretend thermite can burn sideways to melt vertical columns.

Rethinking Thermite

One of the pieces of evidence conspiracy theorists use to say the buildings were brought down is a photo with something they interpret as being left behind by a thermite reaction. There are a number of things they claim with this photo. One is the timeline. They say the photo has firemen which means this was during the rescue operation which only lasted two weeks. Why would they have fireman after the rescue operations? This suggests to them that the cut on the columns were made very close to September 11. The suggestion here is that it was done during the collapse. They claim that the angle of the cut can’t be created by a welding tool and/or is designed to have the building fall in a certain direction. The other is a yellow substance they claim is residue from a thermite reaction.

The rescue operation took about two weeks. They figured anyone left alive would have died by then anyway, so they started clean up operations and body recovery. During this time there was always at least 50 policemen and 50 firemen left on the scene to recover their fallen brothers. There were even more than that on ground zero until the city of NY told them to leave in November 2001. The city couldn’t justify risking the health of 150 police and fireman for body recovery.

Another point is the angle of the cut. The argument here is that it suggests the column was cut at an angle so the building fell in a certain direction, like a tree. But is it possible the column was cut at an angle so just the column fell in a certain direction during cleanup? This can’t be, surely the scholars would have asked an ironworker or someone else on the scene. I bet there isn’t one photograph someone can find on the internet of a column which is cut at an angle.

Squibs

They say this anomaly is an explosive charge going off and a sure sign of Controlled Demolition. It’s often followed by more video of charges going off in real Controlled Demolitions. But if we examine the anomaly closely, we see these [would be] explosives work in reverse to an explosive blast. They tend to spurt out and then increase with time. An explosive works in reverse to this. Its strongest point is the moment the charge is set off. It doesn’t increase its explosive strength with time.

So what is this then? Why would debris jet out of windows far below the collapse? It could be a number of things, by themselves or in combination. One reasonable explanation is a buildup of pressure caused by the compression of air between the floors as they pancaked.

Sounds of Explosions

Could transformers or other electrical equipment explain some of what the firemen saw and heard? What about an acre of concrete floor slamming into another? Would steel bolts snapping under tremendous tension make a pop or explosive sound? Assuming the towers weren’t in the vacuum of space, we can be fairly safe to say the things I mentioned are good candidates to explain what the firemen heard. Even they think so…

Assistant Fire Commissioner: “I thought . . . before . . . No. 2 came down, that I saw low-level flashes. . . . I . . . saw a flash flash flash . . . [at] the lower level of the building. You know like when they . . . blow up a building. . . ?” But if you read on… “I don’t know if that means anything. I mean, I equate it to the building cowing down and pushing things down, it could have been electrical explosions, it could have been whatever.”

Massive Conspiracy

All the people who would have to be involved in order to pull this massive conspiracy off: Bush administration, NYC fire fighters, courts, NYC Police dept, NYC Port Authority, all the people in the Pentagon, more than 1,600 widows and widowers, media, photographers, NY Governor Pataki, NY city scrap yards, CIA, FBI, FEMA, NORAD, FAA, every structural engineer in the world …
